A new multiplex has come into operation in the capital after the daily cases of COVID -19 declined.
Durbar Cinemax has come into operation at Durbar Mall (6th floor), Durbar Marg, Nepal.
Durbar Cinemax is owned by Guna Group that has been operating Guna Cinema Hall in Gwarko, Lalitpur, for the past two and a half decades.
The cinema has two auditorium with a capacity of 53 and 50 seats respectively, equipped with premium Italian leather recliner seating. Durbar Cinemax, one of the most luxurious cinema hall in Nepal offers a high end interior designed lobby, in dine food and bar services inside the auditorium. The operation of Durbar Cinemax is managed by QFX.
Managing Director of Durbar Cinemax Diprash Shakya informed that the main focus is on providing luxury, comfort, convenience and premium cinema experience to the audience. He also mentioned that this new venture has been established to introduce new facets of high-end cinema experience to the Nepalese industry.
He informed that both the auditorium had come into operation from 1st Baisakh 2079, by screening Nepali film A Mero Hajur-4 and South Indian film KGF Chapter–2.
