Domestic airline Guna Airlines has started regular flights to Biratnagar and Janakpur by 30-seater Jetstream aircraft from 15 oct, managing director Diprash Shakya said.
Guna Airlines is excited as it received full support from the passengers in Biratnagar on the first day of the flight.
A total of seven aircraft, including two American Beachcrafts and five British Jetstreams, Guna Airlines has already started regular flights to Bharatpur, Pokhara, Tumlingtar, Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj.
According to Prajwal Thapa, spokesperson and market chief of Guna Airlines, additional flights to Simara and Surkhet are planned to be completed in a few days.
Aiming at the great festival of Nepalese, Dashain, Thapa said that no effort would be spared to provide safe and reliable air service to the passengers and to add quality flights to the domestic air market.
The flight was well received by the passengers at the launched destinations and this has given further encouragement to Guna Airlines.
